Who can apply
Researchers at MA level and up, facing acute danger of displacement or recently displaced by war or natural disaster who have limited access to research resources and institutional support.
The support includes mentorship, guidance on applications and CVs, network and connections, regular check-ins, in accordance with the expertise and research interests of the mentor and the mentee. The mentor and the mentee will decide the duration of the mentoring, which will be at least four months and could be extended to six months.
MAXMINDS 2.0 also serves as a platform for providing information on fellowships for mid-career and senior researchers and other available resources. The coordination of MAXMINDS 2.0 is led by dedicated volunteer researchers and alumni of MPG and is supported by several departments and research groups within MPG.
Please note: MAXMINDS 2.0 offers mentoring and guidance toward opportunities such as scholarships, fellowships and research stays. It does not provide funding itself.
